Jiudiegu is situated at the upper wall of dominant mainfold  fault of metamorphic core complex. The Sinian sandstone slide down due to thermal   metamorphism and mainfold  fault slide down cause the deformation of solid flow fold  ,this made the rocks show various shape, some looks like dragon or phoenix, some like crocodile head.
